Scott is a technology transactions lawyer and legal leader who combines deep commercial experience with a technical foundation in electrical and computer engineering and computer science. He advises high-growth technology companies on complex commercial, IP, AI, product, privacy, data, and security matters, with particular depth in enterprise SaaS, strategic partnerships, technology licensing, and large-scale procurement.

At Roku, Scott built and led a four-person legal team supporting hundreds of commercial and technology transactions each year while continuing to negotiate major deals, including a $100M+ cloud infrastructure agreement. At Salesforce, he served as a primary legal partner to enterprise sales teams and closed what was then the largest deal in the company’s history.

Today, through FLEX by Fenwick, Scott works with a scaling AI company, negotiating complex enterprise SaaS agreements and uses cutting-edge AI technology in his daily practice. He is equally comfortable closing difficult deals and building the templates, playbooks, automation, and AI-enabled workflows that help legal teams move faster and scale. His technical background also enables him to partner effectively with product and engineering teams and translate complex issues into practical business advice.
